Commercial Utility Solutions

I have recently had a 5kw solar system installed by CUS, and would like to say how helpful, professional and efficient they have been throughout the whole procedure.
After a lot of confusion and frustration trying to get the best system for our rural property i eventually contacted CUS and spoke to Glen. Right from the gecko he was down to earth and could not do enough to explain what was the best solution for our situation, how it would work and timing and co-ordination of the installation.

Although i had previously had several quotes (which were more or less compatable in price), my main concern was that the most obvious place to situate the system was heavily shaded and also had a problem of falling leaves and berries which would effect solar preformance. Considering the house has nearly a flat roof there is plenty of exposure for extended time during the day but did not want gorky frames.

I approached CUS as i thought being acommercial solutions company they would be able to help. I thought microinverters might be a solution but Glen took me through the maze and eventually came up with a 2 string solution with 1 inverter. One string of panels facing north and the other facing east (20 panels).

There is a monitoring system with the SolaX inverter so CUS can notify me is the system is not working to capacity and i can see what is going on as well. The system starts 'pumping' (solar power) about 7am and goes till around 6pm.

I would recommend CSU as they definately found the best solution for me. There was no cofusing jargon and it all went off without a hitch.
